two people answer
one question in their footsteps -
trek to Bethlehem
trek to Bethlehem -
angels hum and shepherds watch
hearts that beat as one
hearts that beat as one -
Mary and Joseph travel

I love the repeated lines. Very song-like. Nice job.

I like this journey to Christmas its rhythm is almost like sitting aback a donkey and swaying and stepping. Excellent job.
What a lesson can be learned from the story of Mary and Joseph and that is "Doing the right thing" in our lives. We must thank them for that.
I, too, like the last one. Well done!

This is such a lovely extended haiku. I don't think I've ever actually seen repetition used this way, before, but it works beautifully.
Loved your Christmas Haiku and love how you repeat lines.

Happy Ste. Nicholas Day to you too while we watch the trekking of refugees leading up to Jesus' birth. Your poem could be sung as a round, should be. Thank you.
PEACE be with you.
