I hate to mention this, but did you realize there is a typo in the haiga? You have "past" instead of "fast." I love the flowers! Lucky you, we're back down to temperatures in the 20s today.
Have a great Sunday, Gillena!
Beautiful flowers accompanied by an equally beautiful poem :D
Happy Sunday Gillena :D

Beautiful flowers and beautiful words Gillena...I hope you have a beautiful Easter.
Ah yes....at this time of year the blossoms DO lead to the crown of thorns; but we have to keep looking forward, as after the crossof thorns resurrection follows.

As a child, I could never understood why the day of crucifixion was called "good." Somewhere along the line I began to see that Roman 8:28 is a key that unlocks many of life's mysteries!
I love how your poetry is is relevant and timely Gillena and you not only color us with your writing but with photos as well.
Those are euphorbia right? My mother used to have lots of those.

I must say that your crown of thorns is a more robust plant than what we have in Canada.
Easter Blessings to you.
I once had this Euphorbia milii with white flowers. A nice plant.
