1893

[i used one of my old photos for today's haiga; to appreciate the haiku more, use the revisit hyperlink - When Three Ships Sailed]

three mountain peaks -
after three days grace
quell mutiny's heart

sky and bird songs -
incredible harmony
greet thee morning

dew wetness -
a new wildflower greets
the morning

three mountains peak -
after three days grace
mutiny's heart quelled

Sometimes it seems almost impossible to quell mutiny's heart, but the mountain peaks seem to know the trick!

I love the imagery of the three peaks, three days and then land, with flowers and dew and all things possible. Lovely piece Gillena. I appreciated the bit of history as well! Have a wonderful Sunday my friend!

This is so sweet, comforting. I'm not a morning person, but lately I've been rising earlier and earlier. The morning's greeting is so splendid. Enough to change my habits. Lovely writing Gillena.

The sight of mountains does give hope and sense of calmness and reason then prevails over mutinous thoughts...bird's song helps too.

Love the sight and sound of sky and birds. It speaks of harmonious nature, of life going on, of Nature being... ♥
