I've traveled to so many places through reading books. I recommend it!

I do think that a walk on a moonlit evening can have such a magical quality!
Ahh - story books can be as inviting and magical as the moon - oh to look with childlike eyes!
the only way to reach magical world...
Happy you dropped in Mary

Moonlight and books transport us into different worlds, such power...
I do love a storybook like that..
Each line takes us further into the moonlit world of make-believe.
I travel mostly in storybook pages too.
This works both ways for me: (1) the night-time reading being the travel in foreign lands, and (2) The romance of travel being the stuff of story. Love!
Through story books we are able to travel to distant lands. I adore a good story!
Sigh.. such an enchanting write Gillena :D Love those moonlit shadows. Beautifully penned. Thank you so much for participating at Prompt Nights and for your constant love and support :D :D
Lots of love,

The moon does make the landscape feel like a foreign land!
I think something happened to my last comment. Just know I love your poem, I love the moon, I love fairy tales love you too for writing such sweet words.
Being an older guy and a child in WW2 storybooks were my way of escaping then and finding a happier place.

What a lovely haiku - both the illusion and your delightful words carried me back to those special storybook hours ... as a child, a mom and a grandmother. Thanks for sharing, Gillena.
