REFRIGERATOR WHIMSY
awakened...
a glass of water this night
from the fridge

a thirst
from dreams in slumber lands
with lemonade seas

the paper boats
never sink in frothy waves
below

but those ice monsters
can chew through a village of
refrigerators

rather surreal...hey it would be nice if our paper boats never drown in the waves...and def beware the monsters...

A lot of thoughts can go through a person's head when they wake up thirsty in the night. I like the idea of lemonade seas, but fear those ice monsters. (Smiles.)

Trips to the refrigerator during the night can be full of surprises, some better than others.

Like this...I do try never to get up to eat but sometimes water is great and lemon would be a nice addition for sure...I like the whimsy

Those monsters need to stay under the bed.

Yes, those ice monsters are never too far away, waiting our soul. Very Nice.
