Whats special about today's photo sharing; well, these flowers are commonly refered to, here in the Caribbean, as "Jump up and kiss me"; honestly, i don't know why; and too, i put the potted plant in this wire stand-up basket, the basket is older than i am, it was made by my maternal grandfather(Lewis Stroude).

another Sunday...
the resurrection story
unfolds eternal
warmth of sunshine some days
a gentle wind strokes my cheek

What a lovely post - made me smile, the jump up and kiss me! and how wonderful to have a plant stand made by your grandfather.

Flowers have so much to tell us if only we would listen. The basket too surely has tales to tell too.

Very pretty, Gillena. My poem today has pie, if I'd have come here first I would have made it to be Key 'Lime".
