The shouter baptists, who professed their religious codes at street corners, were ridiculed scorned and harassed, until 1951 when the law stated it was Okay for them to freely practice their religious rites and much later, in 1996, Spiritual Shouter Baptist Liberation Day was declared a public holiday here

Today is Spiritual Shouter Baptist Day

It is important for people to live in a society where they can practice whatever their spiritual beliefs dictate as long as they are not harmful to other people. It is mind-boggling to think that some may be persecuted not only if they are not harming anyone, but in many cases they are persecuted even if they are helping others...
A nice tribute, Gillena.
