Chèvrefeuille prompts "Today's kigo is taken from the division of summer - heavens.
Afterglow (yuuyake) means literary "burnt evening" or yuuyake, the glow of the sky at sunset. I found a nice haiku in which this kigo is used"

such wicked grins -
all the Halloween pumpkins
are wearing them

wear your wicked grins
Halloween tricks and treats lurk
around each corner

around each corner

Stayed at home, listened to all the splendid vibes coming from the St James Auditorium last night, the jazz night of this year's 'we beat' festival till a few minutes to midnight. Luv the fact that in addition to some of by local favourites, one of my foreign current favourites 'cause i'm happy' occurred twice; first as a vocal, and later as an instrumental, where the phi pan was featured.

night deepens -
over at the 'we beat'
a pulse rising
