Whats this all about??? okay; i've eaten one sliced banana for the morning, planning on a more sturdy breakfast after i post; no i did not litter, threw my peel in the kitchen garbage; Whats this about garbage? i can see the pile of bagged garbage in the street, the garbage collectors pick up the bags most time in the wee hours of dawn and sometimes later in the mornings.
#Banana peel #garbage - inspiration for my digital art and haiku today.

SANDY FLIP FLOPS

A treasure, the sand between my toes;
Washed from my flip flops, with a length of hose;

Such fun days, pearled in sea shells on the beach,
And other such like ones, hoarded within my reach;

Rocks to climb, mountains steep to gaze,
while frangipani redden, beneath the sun rays;

I treasure such memories of youth.

Defining Haiku here at Lunch Break that's 30 days, November 1st - 30th of haiku features

The haiku in today's haiga(illustrated haiku)

garbage collectors -
the din interludes sweet songs
of morning birds

--gillena cox

Today's note - kireji

kireji = (cutter or punctuation); the dash or sometimes a semicolon is used in haiku
garbage collectors(dash) = part one
the din interludes sweet songs of morning birds = part two

I invite you to share some of your kireji expertise with me

1
Thank you Vivian for
after the typhoon--
the ocean's shimmering smile
feigning innocence

2
Thank you Bill for showing the use of kire (pause) without punctuation
between the songs
of morning birds
the trash collection

3
Thank you Chelle for
big metal monsters--
cat gets scared and runs under bed
sound of food it is safer
