lost in its magic
the sunset wrapped in thoughts
securely golden
gold gilts the sky
the kisadees find shelter
for the span of night
silhouettes weave
the night for dream seekers
loss of bird songs
solace found
fullness of cooling breezes
twinkling stars
to share a wish
one such falling star plunges
lost to fantasy
moon rays
fill spaces lost to mind sight
dreams filter in

oo i like falling stars...and both day and night have their magic...some are lost for a few hours so we can enjoy the magic of the other...cool take...
Good one :) I always wanted to wish on a falling star but never have seen one. Send one my way next time you see it ;)
I enjoyed the peaceful and serene tone of your poem, Gillena. It feels dreams can indeed 'filter in'.
Very beautiful imagery, Gillena. I especially love "silhouettes weave the night for dream seekers", being a dream seeker myself!
Thanks for your appreciation Brian

The last stanza is breath-taking. I love the idea of moon rays filling spaces lost to mind sight! But I really DID enjoy all the language in this poem.
