a bright moon
through the eye of a needle
this silence

eye of a needle
a double strand enters
knots dwell in her mind
she can cross stitch a village
with or without setting suns

She lived in the eye of a needle
Folks called her Ole Mrs Tweedle
There in her space
all day long she'd tat and lace
and ne'er did she tire that weedle

A clever write, Gillena. Ha, it would be impossible indeed to live on the eye of a needle. I can just picture this Mrs. Tweedle!!

I like the poem (s?) and I also like the picture with the camels! Gives a very different perspective about the eye of a needle!

I like the camels sitting in the eye of the needle, and the images of setting suns being cross stitched. Lovely lovely. I enjoyed all the lines. Superb.

Thanks for visiting me earlier Gillena. I love all your blogs, wow.

Oh now I understand from your picture how those camels squeezed through the eye of a needle!

A impossible place and perhaps it is too impossible to live. More here than just words. Excellent.

What a creative take on the prompt! It is indeed a impossible place! I appreciate how you have got that perception!

Loved the way you "pinned" the "eye of a needle" beautifully against the haiku, tanka and limerick poetry forms. I don't believe, I recall anyone going in that direction with a Poetry Jam prompt before. Very cool!

So original! The eye of a needle is indeed quite an impossible place to be. I really like the idea and I can picture Mrs Tweedle there. Simply wow, Gillena!
