There is nothing like a child's joy over dying those eggs! Beautiful child.

I love those cheesy smiles...they show pure joy in our hearts!
Such a beautiful and happy little girl - looking at her smile lifts my tired old heart! Interesting juxtaposition of the happy haiku and the plight of the homeless man. The contrast works very well to jog awareness. Well done.

Easter is such a precious great event for the young ones & young at heart as when the former enjoys the latter do enjoy as well. Smiles. Happy Easter to you & yours, Gillena!

How this reminded me of 70 or more years ago when the only Easter eggs were chickens eggs dyed pink with cochineal. Britain was at war and chocolate a rarity. Happy Easter to you.
Wow, powerful 'kus. A bit on the sad side though especially the last two.
Still, happy easter Gillena
Thanks Caroline; happy Easter

Fun haiku you shared.
That photo is adorable. Makes me miss my grandkids. I like the contrast in your second poem to the joy of Easter. Made me think. Have a good week Gillena.
