SALT AND GREEN GUAVAS

it all makes sense
my childhood landscape reviewed...
salt and green guavas

gravity dictates
head in clouds
feet in shoes

a quiet breath
sends a whispered prayer
shadow fades to light

daily bread...
plans already drawn
building the kingdom

threadbare clichés only wear one out

--gillena cox

(i created the image of 'green guavas' after seeing some, while out on an errand, weeks ago; and filed it. Since i was sharing my NaHaiWriMo prompts here during the month of August; i haven't written a wordle response in a while; today, i decided to get back to the wordles, after looking at this week's, i started doodling with the words, and realized i could use the 'green guavas' image to haiga, to introduce, and to title; so hope you enjoy SALT AND GREEN GUAVAS )

I like this very much. It is amazing how much cliches seem to run a muck as well as run our lives.

Thank you for your visit to: C5 An All Around Education (wordle).
You stumbled upon an ongoing series that I have been doing for The Sunday Whirl. If you every had the time or the want...the whole of it can be found here:
http://julesstorypageswhirl.wordpress.com/all-together-now-so-far-anyway/

Each story verse is just about a page long, but now there are over 60.

One of these days I'm going to learn how to do haiga...but I lack the computer skills at the moment. :)

Thanks again, JulesPaige

I love the reflection and imagery. I also love the line 'daily bread'. Like a calm prayer over food.

I love the guavas... and you take on gravity ("head in the clouds, feet on the ground") is lovely. Keep that sense of gravity going, Gillena, because we all need it! Very nicely Wordled, and thanks for commenting at my little blog! Amy
