"Miaow", which really meant, "Cheer up! You have something neither of your stepsisters have and that is beauty." It was quite true. Cinderella, even dressed in rags with a dusty gray face from the cinders, was a lovely girl. I like your haiku. I can totally see this alley cat. Probably because they--and their hard stares--exist the world over.
Okay, I'll take a stab at this Cinderella thing. Every girl should have, at least once in her life, a night of pure romance.
