Morning sky greets me, after months of parched dry earth with brown to golden leaves, taken to flight at the slightest breeze. Then came the tumbling rains, almost a day’s hours of its splashes and drips. One banana plant fell to the ground and one plumeria leans, seemingly bowing to the Rain deities

sparsely cloudy sky -
to white plumeria blooms
a white butterfly
