I like how the palm branch rustles in sunlight. There is such warmth while sipping on that coffee.

Good grief woman! After enjoying the aroma from coffee in your Haiku I turned on the music and started swaying looking for my bottle of rum : )

It is great to find contentment in the simple things in life isn't it? How easy to visualize the scene in your haiku Gillena.

This made me think of the tropics? Are there seasons in the tropics? I grew up in Houston, on the third coast, and we didn't have much difference in the seasons?

Lea said...

Dear Gillena, I can hear those rustles and smell that morning aroma... all the way over here! Thank you!

thank you for this peace of this-so welcome and savored. little did i know when i hosted last week-i would become my mother's care taker as we navigate unexpected health concerns and only this pre dawn morning could i make my pilgrimage to feast on each haiku. being here is a rich blessing on a long challenging week. thank you friend.
