Oh, how perfectly you capture that empty, anti-climactic feeling when 'the carnival is over'.

I like the idea of silence sitting on the park steps after all the music has stopped.
I love the silence afterwards ... we need but the joy of a festival is perfect.

Silence is so much wider once the partiers leave. Love.
Great Haiku... As usual. "we beat" what a great festival.

This feels like the deep breath you take after leaving an event. Lovely. :)

The quiet after a festival or a big event leaves such an empty space inside you. I guess it's all that energy disappearing so suddenly.
You painted the picture accurately.
Such events you tend to be three minded about such as "Isn't it great?' then "When will it end" and finally "Hope it comes back next year!" However the leaves are glad when it does!

I went over to your link and the "we beat" festival sounds like a great one to experience. Thank you for introducing me to it. Have a great week and thank yo for visiting my blog this week.
I just know that was loads of fun. Now, I can hear the silence and the gentle rustle of the leaf.
I ca hear that silence.
On its completion it is all quiet when tiredness sets in!
