Tis the Season. Season of Advent, my favourite season of all time, where hope is never fruitless for God's promise is realised in his love for mankind surely and we ponder again the art of waiting on God's promise.
On the Third Sunday of Advent, Gaudete Sunday: the third candle, a pink candle is lit, representing Joy. It is called the “ Shepherd's Candle”. Guadete meaning Rejoice.
A happy Season of Advent to all.

Blessed Advent to you, Gillena!
A good cleaning spree with humor. A very happy season to you also Gillena.
Winter cleaning is a necessary thing. Spring will bring new nests.
Happiest Sunday, Gillena.

Gillena, I am so sorry they are a problem for you. I welcome them in my wee terrace garden. In fact, they are my best pollinators (I have a nest inside a garden sculpture, and it gets reclaimed by a helpful queen every year). They don't bother me, and I don't bother them.
Festive and sacred time. I wait patiently.
Happy Holidays to you and preparation for Christmas and 'cleaning out for the New Year.'

I love that this is the shepherd's candle of joyous anticipation. Lovely, Gillena.
Yes, enemies of joy must make their nests elsewhere! Thank you for the joyous music this morning. Worthy of a little dance!
Hi there Gillena, Thanks for this... The truth is they always return to their favourites places! Have a great Christmas... x
Ah they are real stingers,Magaly. So i do not encourage them. The like to nest in my verandah ceiling. The tiniest of nests i broom away.
Much 💞 love

Wasps are not my favorite insects... we have a long history... so no nests for me either. I'll take a honey bee for pollinating any day. Clever writing and artmaking! Thanks for the music as well! Hope you had a beautiful Sunday Gillena!
The real problem is if they decide to come inside to say hello!
understand your need to chase them away.
Happy Holidays, Gillena! :)
I have always loved our Advent Wreath and it's daily prayers.

I love the sense of waiting that Advent brings. Happy season to you!
My sentiments also. Wasp stings are painful and the swelling and itch last.
Good one, Gillena

Yes, before the sting finds a place to rest.
I had to look up Jack Spaniard. We don't have them here. Instead, it's the mud wasp nests we get rid of on sight.
Thank you Audrey
