Thank you for sharing, Gillena!
I love the carnival photos Gillena! And your pieces are very nice! Do you create your Haiku and then the art, or vice versa? I'm just curious!! :)
Gillena,
Thanks for stopping by to check out my Thursday Art Date with Rain illustrations. Might I offer a suggestion, please? When you signed in to leave a comment, which I really appreciated by the way, you only used your email address. That's okay but if you want others to find you easily, including me, then you may wish to include your direct post URL in comments or to add your blog URL when you sign in. It's only a suggestion but if you're interested in generating interest of those who visit my blog or others then this provides a path back to your blog with ease. Thankfully, I was at Rain's blog again this morning to see who linked up since I did and found your blog added to the linky party.
Festive artwork for this prompt. I loved the carnival photos and music. If you like music then you might want to join me for Monday's Mewsic (Music) Moves Me dance floor each week.
Have a doodletastic week, my friend!

In this particular post i erote the haiku and then did the colour pencil drawing. My inspiration came from attending a children carnival event.
Most times i do write and then look for images to supplement my haiku
