We sometimes have hatchlings (eggs) that don’t hatch. We think they were unfertilized eggs. It happens. We also have a lot of weeds sprouting through cracks. I am going to try to see them in a different way now, perhaps as persistent!

I'm sorry I am late visiting from Rain's Thursday Art Date. I have SO many of those weeds coming up through cracks in my concrete and never even thought to use that as an example. Great art and wonderful cracks, too.

I am listening to Michael Jackson as I write this comment ... hoping that our world will find a path back to kindness, civility and love. All of your art is wonderful and I had to laugh at your bad hair day ... we need things to laugh about these days. Thank you for that. The girl in the mask would have said it all a week ago and now that message has been lost in another disastrous state of affairs ... Peace and love to you. Thank you for this lovely post and the hope of the fledglings ...
