Oh yes, all these small accommodations can become so tricky – and yet we must do the best we can.
Happy you dropped by Rosemary

Hi Gillena, Always a treat to be here. Very piquant lines that go straight to the heart of the matter...
"Sometimes" a troiku says it all...
Fine lines and bird song--these are definitely parts of the pandemic. Lovely descriptions!
"Those in the cage will sing to the moon of freedom." This is a lovely troiku Gillena!
Your poem speaks of our times. But I hope you're keeping well and celebrating your birthday month, regardless.
Sometimes we find that the cage is the one we've built for ourselves. We sing to the moon of freedom -- perhaps the moon echoes, "Step out..." Thought-provoking poetry.
Ruffles on a bodice, wigs that sashay, singing cages ~~~~ love your Sunday Muse.
I'm liking this, Gillena, good message.
It reminded me of a comment I received on my YouTube chastising me about liking the caging of a monkey. I was in Guatamala and the aged monkey was outside our hotel.
On YouTube I am Jim1Jim1.

I've never come across a situation to need to remove my mask. I've noticed usual checks of things skipped though. Some minor (handing me library books out the door without seeing it's really me and without a card)or more major, which happened yesterday. I forget what it was, but I was surprised!
I like the troiku form. You did it very nicely.
"Ruffles on a bodice front... to moon of freedom" - my favorite lines.
Thanks for your appreciation Scott

I love your exploration of pandemic expectations....and the whistling bird.
May these constraints loosen for us all in the near future. I enjoyed your musical selection today. I see John Batiste every night I watch Stephen Colbert's show.
I think I hear whistling of expectations. Have a wonderful Sunday, always wearing the mask here or you won't get into any place of business.
Thanks for your appreciation Bev

What a magnificent voice for my art. Your ending was perfect. Sometimes its the little things that give us the biggest insight. Thank you for sharing your interpretation of my art!
I loved your troiku! We have to keep plugging along--I wonder how the birds see us in all our masks
Thanks for your appreciation Susie, luv your art.
