Gillena, I'm really liking your last two lines.
Did you know that GRAVITY tries to pull space satellites down while centrifugal force tends to sling then out of orbit? If these two cancel out the satellite will rotate in orbit for a long time. I don't remember much of my Orbital Mechanics classes but I like that idea very much as it made sense. (I was an Aerospace Engineer at a satellite tracking Air Force base (three years) and at NASA Houston, Texas (16 years) until I changed careers.

The clay poem felt like an epigram you'd find at the beginning of a novel. The tension between breaking, changing, and remaining shattered create an interesting potential energy.
