neon lights flash
she squinted every time -
loud chattering
with her face dabbed
it all seemed so easy -
just grab the frame
oh cruel fate
flecks from a bonfire
skittered her way
a scalded pigeon
in a cast iron cauldron -
all thats left behind
trapped again this time -
the tattered hem of her skirt
as they drag her off

I love the kitties. The one with the flowered hat has such a cute expression. And you can't go wrong with a hummingbird, ever. Thanks for sharing that with us at AJJ Gillena.
