news of my friend's passing -

It was a great shock to us at facebook yesterday, to her of the death of our haiku friend, Ghanian Adjei Agyei-Baah who had been writing towards his doctorate in New Zealand. He passed away suddenly.  RIP dear Adjei

[I am very fond of this contemplatve ku. This is from Adjei,s  book 'Afriku: Haiku and Senryu from Ghana with a foreword by Hidenori Hiruta published in  2016 by RedMoon Press. I rceived the book in 2017 via snail mail; when we did a book swap]

The meaningful lyrics and the soulful melody of this carol by  William Chatterton Dix evokes a palpable scenario. It gives the feeling that God himself has transformed into the form of man through this baby, and that the almighty has arrived to rescue humanity. "What child is this?"
