 Enter The Light

after I press send

the room grows wider slowly

breath by quiet breath (db)

silence fills empty spaces

oh for a handful of stars (gc)

pinpricks of light

vanish without a ripple—

darkness rearranges (db)

a night so holy

comes to mind; enlightening

my lonely ego (gc)

“sum inter hæc,” I ponder,

“everything settles downward…”(db)

the gravity of

life-bringing order becomes ~

wise men acknowledge (gc)

yellow butterfly

passing  yellow ixoras

yesterday's  watching

of its freedom to pass by

not stopping for a visit

today  writing of

that butterfly passing by

its yellow colour

observation clings

to the chance of being here

not somewhere else

where no flowers are blooming

no yellow butterflies fly

coincidence lurks

In the yellow sameness of

sunshine and flowers
