I imagine a star, rising, much like dandelion puffs in the lightness of an ethereal breeze, spun on the threads of wanderlust and bohemian trysts, the core of vanishing, the sparks of genius, reaching higher higher higher; travelling at the speed of esoteric.

sun beams and moon rays -
in the rhythm of silence
he David fleeing

In the tropics, here in Trinidad, there is no winter or cold phases of the year, so the kigo "Joy of living"; i accepted, more so as a prompt for the celebratory aspect of our welcoming a new calendar year

Returning home from church last night, an ordinary day-two of a new year, crossing the street, happens my head is down for a brief moment. Next thing i'm aware of someone in front of me, so i step back one pace raising my head, i'm looking straight and direct, into the smiling eyes of Machel Montana(T&T Soca Monarch). My brain registers, my mouth zips, i continue walking, Shucks!! i should have at least said Happy New Year, duh!!!
