sometimes balloons
leave the party to frolic -
Children's carnival

out in the streets
the wind finds new rhythm -
Children's carnival

Sounds like a fun event and I think the balloons decided to take flight. There is something magical about watching a balloon drift off towards the heavens.

I love the haiku sequence incorporating refrain. It conveys all the joy of the occasion.

Balloons making up their own minds where there would like to be always brings joy to my heart.
It is a though they show us what is possible in life if we only take the chance. Kites also have this trait to escape from captivity. What a fun post.
