sometimes balloons
leave the party to frolic -
Children's carnival
out in the streets
the wind finds new rhythm -
Children's carnival
splendor of colour
in the cheer of bright sunshine -
Children's carnival

What a delightful and colorful happy event this must be!
"sometimes balloons
leave the party to frolic -" those lines grabbed me! I love them image they evoke. A lovely series of haiku!
Sounds like a fun event and I think the balloons decided to take flight. There is something magical about watching a balloon drift off towards the heavens.
I'm smiling - nothing's happier than red balloons,
This made me grin huge :D
Happy Sunday Gillena :D
Lots of love,
Sanaa
I love the image of the balloons leaving for their own party!

I love the haiku sequence incorporating refrain. It conveys all the joy of the occasion.
Balloons making up their own minds where there would like to be always brings joy to my heart.
It is a though they show us what is possible in life if we only take the chance. Kites also have this trait to escape from captivity. What a fun post.
