As long as there are rainbows, there is hope.

I have always loved the truth and the symbolism of a rainbow and the way it keeps hope alive.

The solid and the bright--the mountain and the rainbow--are marvelous, allowing a re-calibration of awe without argument and with gratitude.

My mother would tell us kids that the wet multi-coloured spots in car parks or on the roads after the rain were where rainbows had landed. As an adult I realised they were actually oil spots left by vehicles. I believe my mum.
