behind my mask
appreciation breathes in
a colour
not seen
in my garden
the warm of sunlight
caressing my face
as i walk
in this new normal phase
lockdown now a memory
at the street vendor
things we took for granted
buying fruit
celebrating a new day with
huge helpings of hope stirred in

How lovely you concentrated on the beauty that surrounds us ... still.
Your cheerful poem was a pleasure to read, and a reminder there are many things about us still to celebrate, even in sequester.

Here in the US, it looks like it's going to be deja vu all over again... I expect a lock down announcement soon.
"Huge helping of hope..." That's just wonderful, and just what we need!
The gradual easing of restrictions is indeed cause for celebration!
Truly lovely...beautiful photo as well.
Loved the huge helpings of hope!
