Poetics.Stars that count

Can you fasten the harness of the Pleiades, or untie Orion's bands?
(Job 38:31. Jerusalem Bible)

November is the month of the Pleiades reaching its highest spot in the sky on or around the 21st of the month. Also there are reports of Comet Erasumus having appeared this November  after 2500 years.

Our challenge at Dverse to write a poem in the  Pleiades form

SENTINEL
Seven ladies giggled in the night
Sisters, they watched the round moon
Silly girls of wastrel giggling glee
Snickering at what a big fat orb
Shy moon turned out to be
So they teased and laughed heartily
Still the moon guards our night

The haiku is cute. :) For the Pleiades poem, the part about the girls making fun of the moon is so creative!

Love this whimsical take on the prompt and most especially this line "Silly girls of wastrel giggling glee" - it's what sisters do! :)
