I love that you have so embraced the troiku.
'Ixora' was a new word for me; I imagined it was a word for apple juice, then Google told me it is the flower: West Indian jasmine. That gave me the presence of scent even more vividly.

Very pretty. Ixora is too tropical for my zone, but it's a lovely choice for poetry. Just saying it aloud is poetic.

Jasmine is one of my favorite scents, but I have not experienced an ixora yet. I hope to someday.
I haven't seen ixora fliwers ever but they should grow here in the Gulf flat lands. Google showed some very pretty ones, inviting your lovely verses.
