Covid had just about spent enough time with us all I think. It is just over a year now and new cases are still popping up even in Australia.
I enjoyed seeing pictures of colourful masks in the cities of the world. In this small town and rural area, we have not had any cases yet. Masks remain a matter of personal preference in most circumstances, and are seldom worn.
excellent final verse as commentary on these times
Thoughtful indeed, thanks for sharing and warm greetings!

Gillena, this is AMAZING. Masks as flowers and the weariness within...a moving set of poems.
You've used the photo in such a unique way to speak about our present time. Wonderful, Gillena.
Thank goodness for variety.
Be safe, Gillena.
i like the comparison here, the grey sky to the colourful face masks of the people. :)
You are so cleaver.A truly wonderful composition. Have a nice Sunday.
I love where your imagination took you, a timeless image and perfect for our time.
