my son visits
he's wearing his glasses
i'm wearing mine
❧✿❧
my son visits
i wish him happy new year
a year two weeks old
he's wearing his glasses
he has grown a beard
he likes plain black masks
i'm wearing mine
my glasses that is
i got a new pair
...
my son visits
after the rain this morning
a welcome surprise
i wish him happy new year
just a pat on the back
no hugs
a year two weeks old
Christmas decor put away
angel on the door
...
he's wearing his glasses
they look new but they're not
they're just clean
he has grown a beard
i spy a few grey ones
in there
he likes plain black masks
not me
i luv all the designs
...
i'm wearing mine
not my mask
my glasses
my glasses that is
my movie watching buddies
wear them i must
i got a new pair
got a spray and cloths as well
to clean them

mask elas-tics
tangles of my glass-tics
finger lash-tics
__ The many, many times... that my fingers and eye glass arms (ear-stics?), get woven into one... by my "mask elas-tics." Smiles! _m
