sweat of slaves in the desert
year upon year

the precision of
pyramids to encapsule
bones and dust

dust
sweat
for miles
the sun shines
directly on them
these labouring men pity of
wives and children hungry for a little daily bread
their product the fancy of pharaohs future generations easy to inherit
