courtesan and monk,
sleeping under one roof together,
moon in a field of clover
ah but seasons never stay
soon gold and red falling
first snowflakes -

Oh! May we keep them all? or is this a trail of revision? I like the leaves transforming into snowflakes as seasons turn, maid and monk as yin/yang. I like how that line "seasons never stay" recalls Frost's "Nothing Gold Can Stay," putting it in the natural turn of seasons. I like the hand receiving. ( I am glad you are safe and well after all the weather has passed through!)
Sentiments echoed. Glad you are OK. Hand receiving blessings.
I must confess I was surprised you wrote about the four seasons Gillena when you only have two (Dry and Wet) with hurricanes thrown in for good measure! This is like the Northern Territory in Australia.
Very beautiful, all!
Very nicely done, Gillena!
Your words compliment Basho's haiku so well. Seasons that never stay bring about a philosophical aspect to it — I loved the image of outstretched hands receiving the first of the snowflakes. <3
Susan thanks for dropping by.
They are all keepers. I wanted readers to understand the process and the form, that of Tan Renga; where the two end verses responded and followed the first, which is a Basho haiku.
Thanks for your appreciation

Thanks for your appreciation Robin. Yes, here in T&T ours are The Dry Season and The Rainy Season. I had to draw on vacation memories to write my Tan Renga response.
