words mingled with sky -
those morning birds spell awake
they call to sleepers
dim the night colours -
though damp the dew on flowers
ladybird wings twitch
the sun comes out
to gaze on every leaf and space -
a cloud drifts onward
shattered dreams of night
split shallow realities -
which shadows are true
