The Origin of The Coconut Vendor lorries, or ornate new advertising wagons, have been a fixture in Port-of-Spain seemingly forever. Long before bottled water and cheap, plastic bottled soft drinks, the easy way to refresh oneself after a hot day in the city was to pay a penny and have a vendor wield a razor-sharp cutlass across a coconut, guzzle the sweet water and then have it hacked open, so that the jelly inside could be eaten with an improvised spoon made from a chip of the same coconut shell. THIS WEEK'S ANNOYANCE
My cell phone charger which i had bought a few day past fell and the part to put into the phone broke of and one of the tiny wires busted so i had to rush out and buy a new one😕
Then i was redesigning an oversized styled jump suit which i had not worn in a long while and my scissors fell and the handle broke. Now i cannot use it
I have to buy new scissors; 😕but i finished my redesign project

Yesterday, i looked at the movie 'Seven Years in Tibet' starring Brad Pitt as Heinrich Harrer.
The movie is 2hrs 16mins duration. Netflix genres ascribed are: Movies bases on real life, Action and adventure, Dramas, Faith and spirituality. It is 2hrs 16mins duration.
While viewing the movie i remembered:
1...oh Wow!!! I saw the 14th Dalai Lama close up when he visited Trinidad in September 1995. I had attended, [having been invited by two friends - Margaret King and Rosemary Mathurin] a dinner at The Hilton - 'Harmony in Diversity Dinner'. He had given a speech and there was an interpreter and i saw him evev closer up when he was leaving the dinner.
