The Trinidad Government Railway existed between 1876 and 28 December 1968.
Michael Anthony(1932 -2023) states that it was the competition of motor cars and buses which were taking over as a popular form of transport for passengers that led to the abandonment of rail transport in Trinidad

Here's my yummylicious Quick Pumpkin Bread
I used Prunes because i didnt have raisins. MY RECIPE: to 1 cup of flour, add 2 pinches salt, add a half cup of grated pumpkin and chopped prunes about 5. Stir. Add 2 tsp baking powder. Add 1 egg. Pour in enough Almond milk to make it like a cake batter. Pour into a greased dish. I used a round dish..6inc in diameter. Bake about 20 mins. Test if a skewer comes out clean its ready. To keep a moist top. Brush with melted butter. Leave (in the oven turned off ) for about 3minutes. Enjoy your yummylicious GillenaCox Pumpkin Bread ♥
