covid has certainly required us to live one day at a time. love your flowers and haiku, stay safe and thank you for keeping the haiku fires burning!
well said gillena, lots of folk here never did take any of this seriously and just did as they pleased, and some i guess, just don't have the mental strength to deal with it and get angry. we just be strong, i think we are closer to the end of the pandemic now, soon we can all get back to normal-ish life. bless you for what you do (and no matter what your recaptcha says, i am not a robot=)

I too enjoy your sketching. And, even more, your poetic treats. In this latest, I love the sense that Nature continues calmly doing Her thing despite temporary human crises, and regardless of how heartfelt any expletives uttered may be.
Such joy from your sketch and truth in your haiku. Thank you Gillena!

These sequence reads so very familiar. Replace the water drops with snow, and it could be happening here.
Happy weekend, Gillena.
Lovely poem, your haiku keep surprising me. I can only do the simple 575 format and yours is clearly more complex. I love the expression of how nature keeps going on in spite of our human crises indeed.
