SUNDAY SMILES

What's there to smile about today? Thank God for the grace of poetry.

BLOG HOPPING TODAY WITH
walls world numb touch spilt longing own burning flame gap light ashes

reflections of war
ashes; that  reminder of
something solid gone

burning flame light
our souls warming the love
numb to our faults

close the gap of greed
open the borders for peace
touch a neighbour's hand

roses can enhance
with walls for neighbourly chat
longing to unite

 we own the task of
shaping a world beautiful
spilt errors to right

Love the way these poems call for both an appreciation of the sunlight around us and to pass the warmth on.
