In tuned with morning
her silvery web well spun –
a spider rests

I love the green of the illustration. The poem's restfulness is reflected in it.

A sense of peace, even knowing the spider is a devious predator!!! Thanks so much for sharing Gillena. Micropoetry month will be on all through Novemeber so do swing by as often as you can. :)

Thanks for dropping in Celestine, a photo from my garden i used; added a filter. There was a spider in the photo but my cell phone camera couldn't pick it up

It feels like serendipity reading this. Last night when I came home from work, I saw a spider on the front door but it crept slowly and stayed on the outside. When I came in, I wondered to myself, if it would be making its last web before the freezing weather. Your haiga makes me thing of autumn's last web before the spider rests.
