The quietness never seems to last long enough, does it? Even if we don't have outer quietness, may we be quiet in our hearts.

It does feel as if certain sounds have been turned down, in favor of the squirrels in the backyard, the birds on the roofs, and the neighbors playing in their backyards. Lovely pair of poems!

Such a lovely thought, such quiet. I love the cawing of crows and ravens, which I have in my yard.

I loved them both, Gillena. Turkey here as well, with just us. My grandson's wife has been tested positive, so we'll be taking their Thanksgiving dinner over to them. and just us three here at home. Blessings to you and yours.

I'm smiling because these morning, I heard blue jays and starlings having a heated argument while I prepared my breakfast (which always involves a soft boiled egg).

I hope you have a great Sunday, Gillena.
