Yesterday, i looked at the movie 'Seven Years in Tibet' starring Brad Pitt as Heinrich Harrer.

While viewing the movie i remembered:
1...oh Wow!!! I saw the 14th Dalai Lama close up when he visited Trinidad in September 1995. I had attended, [having been invited by two friends - Margaret King and Rosemary Mathurin] a dinner at The Hilton - 'Harmony in Diversity Dinner'. He had given a speech and there was an interpreter and i saw him evev closer up when he was leaving the dinner.
