Today's note - juxtaposition
teaming of two images in such a way as to present a poetic aesthetic
a gentle rain = image 1; this can call to mind all sorts of emotive experiences in the reader
deepening green of broccoli in boiling water = image 2; a bit of surprise to the reader, deepening the poetic essence of the instant shared
