Hot chocolate, yummy, or as I have on my blog, hot cocoa. Growing up we didn't have these mixes that come with sugar, only unsweetened cocoa which my mother mixed with milk and added sugar to taste. For extra richness, a dollop of whipped cream on top.

My paternal
grandmother, Veronica Mitchell (many years deceased), used to grind cocoa beans which she would shape into cocoa logs and balls, to be used for making hot chocolate. She sold them, along with herbs and spices in the old Chaguanas market
