Linking today to Sunday Whirl:Wordle #135 AND Sunday Scribblings:#395 'etc' AND Postcards From Paradise

MS TYPHOON
She opens her mouth, and out spews,
Puddles of anxiety, hype and mayhem.
The pain of a nation, she cradles in her arms.
Her ominous eyes flashing headlights of befuddlement.
Does she isolate winners from losers?
No! all are warped in her murky marsh.
In the peril of her razor sharp wrath.

a lanky child
totes a sibling with her tears...
Haiyan typhoon

some will guzzle whisky and
some spaces in their bellies

quoting the wisdom
of one race; people on
planet earth

silky cords the binding yet
gathering all predefined

Sometimes on a Sunday we talk here about sadness too.
Sunday Smiles; only because we must keep faith through prayers and wishes for God's mercy for those suffering through The Phillipines devastation.

Sunday Savvy 19

Today marks a year since the terrible tsunami which devastated Fukushima in Japan;

how so unlike
the cherry blossoms which fall
much to the delight
of millions of onlookers
conscious of their span

Japan must rebuild dozens of ravaged coastal communities, shut down the crippled Fukushima Dai-ichi nuclear power plant and decontaminate radiated land so it is inhabitable again..."Our predecessors who bought prosperity to Japan have repeatedly risen up from crises, every time becoming stronger," Noda said at a ceremony at the National Theater attended by the emperor and empress.
