Dry season, the sun glints a brilliant hue, just what the carnival revellers would need, to sparkle their beads and sequins and add enough fantasy to their plumes. On the flip side of these sunlight hours, its about quiet time sitting in the shade, hearing the banana fronds ripples in the passing gusts, Its about tea, whether hot or iced and a good book.

...According to the "Anxi" theory, oolong tea had its origin in the Anxi oolong tea plant, which was discovered by a man named Sulong, Wulong, or Wuliang.

Another tale tells of a man named Wu Liang (later corrupted to Wu Long, or Oolong) who discovered oolong tea by accident when he was distracted by a deer after a hard day's tea-picking, and by the time he remembered to return to the tea it had already started to oxidize.

Sunday savvy/jasmine flowers bloom/in a pot of tea
--gillena cox

Last Sunday, i wanted to fold an origami crane to photograph and upload to my Sunday post; try as i might, i just wasn't getting it right, so i used an image from google. However i fiddled and fumbled throughout the day and come Monday i was still at it, until i eventually got it, so today again i'm posting but this time, its my folded crane. The paper used for folding my crane is from a pack, sent to me a few years ago, as a gift, from a haiku friend, Etsuko from Japan.
As such today i'm offering a prompt: completion
