1918

After a few days rain. I sweep the path of leaves, and gifts of debris - twigs the birds leave as signposts of their presence. Early morning sun is warming and inviting to those with a passion for another day. Surely it may rain for tis the season of The Rain, but then again maybe all day long the sun will smile her broadest and sweetest, hottest.

Chèvrefeuille's challenge: share a favorite haiku and try to create an all new haiku inspired on that choice haiku.

A haiku i like a lot and choose for my inspiration is
since morning glories
hold my well-bucket hostage
I beg for water

morning glory!
the well bucket-entangled,
I ask for water
© Chiyo-Ni

This haiku is a beauty because of Chiyo-Ni's feeling towards the Morning Glory which entangled the well bucket. She sees the beauty of the Morning Glory and she doesn't want to ruin it. So she turns to one of our neighbors and asks for water.

Here is my response on this beauty by Chiyo-Ni:
